Chris Jobson will be performing an opening set at ProgStock 2026 in front of Spock's Beard on Friday evening. We are looking forward to this new prog-adjacent artist's debut at ProgStock.
Wish You Well is the debut release from singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist CHRIS JOBSON. Performing nine original songs from intimate ballads to hard rock, Chris is featured on all vocals, in addition to guitar, cello, mandolin, bass, and drums.
Arranged and produced by his father, legendary musician Eddie Jobson, Wish You Well is a beautifully recorded indie-rock album – Globe Music's proud introduction to an exciting and original next-generation talent.
Spock’s Beard was founded in Los Angeles in 1992 by brothers Neal and Alan Morse, quickly building a reputation for ambitious progressive rock songwriting and high-energy live performances. The early years produced landmark releases including The Light, Beware of Darkness, The Kindness of Strangers, Day for Night, and V, records that helped define modern progressive rock for a new generation.
After Neal Morse departed in 2002, the group entered a new era with evolving lineups, broader sonic textures, and continued touring across the US and Europe. Releases such as Octane, Spock’s Beard, and X reinforced the band’s creative identity, while live records documented the depth of the catalog on stage.
The current lineup continues that legacy with renewed momentum on The Archaeoptimist (Madfish Records, 2025), combining classic Beard complexity with fresh writing and arrangements.
