Hip Hop Artist "JAY HAM" hails from Southeast Georgia currently residing in Florida. In the beginning of 2016 he changed his name from DA K-I-D-D to Jay Ham. Jay Ham is an acronym for “Just another Young Hungry Artist Manifested”. The meaning behind the acronym is he still has that same hunger he had as a young artist beginning his music career. His passion and love for the art has never left him. He lives by the slogan “Creating Life through Music”.
He is currently working on his 5th single Me & You ft. Fish Hook due to be released in late November 2016. He will also be giving his fans chances to receive a copy of the unreleased single first before it is released publically. His new self titled album JAY HAM is due to be released the middle of January 2017. He is also currently working on a mixtape titled “The Journey” to be released mid December. Tour dates TBA.

As DA K-I-D-D he felt as if he was just making music to become popular and the music didn’t have an actual meaning behind it. “After all if you are an independent artist…why not make the music YOU want to make?” a quote from Jay Ham. He feels that he found himself as an artist as Jay Ham which is actually derived from his real name. “I have been in and out the music industry for 15 years and as Jay Ham I feel the most comfortable. I’m me” quotes Jay Ham. As the artist he is today he expresses his true self and also voices his opinion on what is happening in today’s society.
