By some form of cosmic serendipity, Machine Life is here at last after years of careful planning. With the ambition to change what the universe thinks of pop music, these four musicians/songwriters are crafting pure pop perfection with infectious melodies and mystifying electronic sounds. But don't mistake them for your average, unimaginative pop band; with influences ranging from New Order to Louis Armstorng, Madonna to Miss Kittin, Bjork to Dylan, Machine Life is just moments away from taking over our cultural consciousness with gorgeous masterpieces of sonic ecstacy. Prepare to dance your preconceptions away.
Machine Life began in April of 2011 when Yanal Kazan and Tay Samiz, two independent DJs with a history deep in the roots of the New York dance scene of the 90s, met April Acerno, a vocalist with a background in jazz and a passion for performance art. Craig Harris, another DJ in the New York City scene, quickly signed on and the stage was set.
Machine Life is currently completing their first feature-length album and booking their first extended tour.
