Artist Bio
In 1987 at the age of 13, Kevin G. Moore discovered his love for telling tales as a singer/songwriter while happening upon a local coffee house concert in his home town of Wakefield, MA. He quickly started performing at coffee houses and other venues around Boston and it's suburbs. He spent a few years performing on Boston's subways and parks as a street musician, until he moved to Alaska in 1997. In Alaska, he broke into the music scene by playing at all the venues and festivals available. With his ten years in Alaska, he performed weekly and spent a great amount of time writing and recording. In 2007, Kevin moved back to the Boston area. Today he can be found performing at coffee houses, cafes, bars, festivals and private functions all over New England and New York. Kevin's songwriting and sound has been compared to such artists as Cat Stevens, Paul Simon, Pete Seeger and many more. His live performance often comes along with a box of tissues for emotional moments and laughter. He writes of life, and his songs are meant to heal us from the struggles that come with it.
