Biography
At only 21, Alli Walker, born and raised in Prince Edward Island, is well on her way to becoming an accomplished singer, songwriter and performer.

She has had the opportunity to write with the likes of Omar Martinez- ‘Pray’ Justin Bieber; Danick Dupelle and Arlow Gilliam- Emerson Drive; Heather Longstaffe and Steven Dall- EMI Publishing; Kathleen Higgins- The Higgins; Eric Paul- ‘Tired of Waiting’ The Trews; Clayton Bellamy- The Road Hammers, and many more.

Alli's love for music and performing began at an early age with a drum battle in Junior High. In 2003, she then moved onto bagpiping where she received many individual awards, including the North American Championships with her band, as well as went to the World Pipe Band Championship in Glasgow, Scotland. As a bagpiper Alli has performed countless times at events such as the Music PEI Awards, and the Easter Seals Telethon. Alli is also skilled in step dancing, highland dancing, Irish dancing, and has had performances with Broadway Bound Dance.
Alli first started singing in her senior year of High School when she auditioned for the musical 'Footloose' where she was successful in securing the lead female role as Ariel. That summer she took her first singing lessons, and she auditioned and made it into the Music Department at the University of Prince Edward Island as a vocal major. During her time at UPEI, Alli performed with the UPEI choir, chamber singers, and Ragattzi choirs at various recitals and concerts.
At the age of 17, Alli purchased her first acoustic guitar, took lessons and began writing, playing and singing her own songs. Her remake of Taylor Swift's song "Our Song" was played on numerous radio stations in the Atlantic Provinces and she also collaborated with other musicians and recorded tracks of her own songs on a fundraising CD for Free the Children.
In September of 2009, Alli decided to take a leap of faith and moved to Toronto on her own to make her shot at the country music industry with her newly recorded EP. Upon moving to Toronto she auditioned along with 4000 other entrants to be MuchMusic's Next VJ and landed in the Top 2 spot. During this adventure she received lots of TV, hosting, interviewing, and performing experience, and was able to create a strong fan base to launch her music. The experience on Much Music also opened up other opportunities for Alli. She ended up in the May 2010 issue of Maverick Magazine, UK's country music magazine. Here a wonderful review of her four song EP, was in the same issue alongside artists such as Alan Jackson. She also worked with a tv and film production company where she got to interview artists, like Danny Fernandes. As well, you can find her in music videos for Tim Chaisson, Nightbox, and Small Sins.
