The Native Howl is an acoustic duo from Southeast Michigan. Alex Holycross and Jake Sawicki play a variety of instruments on their debut EP “The Revolution’s Dead” including the banjo, djembe and cajon.
The Native Howl formed in the early winter months of 2013, quickly gathering local demand to play live. A mere 9 months later, they released their first EP “The Revolution’s Dead.” Inspired by music from around the world, the EP transcends genres with roots in folk, rock and bluegrass.
