Artist Bio
Being an accomplished recording artist and performer has been the main objective for Paul Anthony II since age 12. Although he is American born (Boca Raton, FL) he was raised on the authentic Reggae and Dancehall sounds of his Father's native home; Jamaica.
Paul has spent the past 18 years honing his craft as a songwriter and performer. He has learned to seamlessly blend Contemporary sounds like Hip Hop and Pop with his Reggae/Dancehall foundation to create an organic sound that he believes is uniquely Progressive.
His creative efforts have not gone unnoticed. Paul's music has been in the rotations of some of South Florida's most prestigious Radio stations such as: Hot 105.1FM (Reggae Runnins Show), Homegrown with G. Cole, X102.3FM, 99Jamz, Supajamz Radio, WAVS1170AM, RockDaBox.com, The KC & Deja Show, DancehallLink.com, WZPP/WZOP Radio 92.7FM (Fort Lauderdale) and 96.1FM (Miami), among others. His single "iGirl" was featured on a VP Records compilation album "Yesterday Today" in 2011. He was even chosen by the Marley Family and fan picked to be a top 3 finalist in The Marley's Music Uprising International Artist Search in 2013. Cedella Marley, Daughter of Reggae Legend Bob Marley and C.E.O of Tuff Gong International said, “Paul is very talented and has an eclectic style that I really like. He blends Dancehall and Reggae in a contemporary way. He sounds like somebody who just came out of Jamaica.”
