Mirza Redzepagic is a pioneer of flamenco music in Bosnia and Herzegovina. As a classically trained guitarist and a great aficionado of maqam music his idea is to connect all of this arts to create a unique sound and atmosphere.
Mirza Redzepagic is a pioneer of flamenco music in Bosnia and Herzegovina. As a classically trained guitarist and a great aficionado of maqam music his idea is to connect all of this arts to create a unique sound and atmosphere.
Mirza is working on flamenco project with flamenco singer Nina Flamenca from Croatia. This project has started on February 2016 and now they are performing concerts across Bosnia and neighbour countries.
Together with Kenan Mackovic (piano & vocal) and Davor Maraus (percussion), Mirza is playing in a trio Bosanski Lonac (Bosnian Pot).
Bosanski Lonac is performing traditional music from Bosnia and Herzegovina called SEVDALINKA with influences of flamenco, maqam music, jazz and classical music. They released two videos and currently finishing preparations for their first CD album.
