Artist Bio

A Louisiana native, now 25-year East Nashville resident, Kevin Gordon is a touring recording artist & songwriter. He's currently writing for his next recording project. His latest release, Tilt and Shine, has garnered high critical praise, just like 2015's Long Gone Time, and 2012's Gloryland, which got rave reviews in The New York Times, USA Today, Rolling Stone, and many others.  The title track from his Down to the Well album, a duet with Grammy winner Lucinda Williams, was featured on the Oxford American Southern Music Sampler CD. Gordon's songs have been recorded by Keith Richards, Levon Helm, Hard Working Americans (Todd Snider), Irma Thomas, and others. Kevin also earned an MFA in poetry from the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop.
