Artist Bio
Brazilian born, Italian family, splitting his time between the US and Rio de Janeiro, Franco Sattamini (Satta) is a singer-songwriter, producer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist and actor.
Credits go from Grammy nominated recordings and award-winning CDs to world touring and TV and theatre scoring, and yet he says "Today's work is the best music I’ve ever produced! It is the very image of my heart and soul!”.
Quoted by BMI as one of the top singer-songwriters of the NY area, he “locks himself in his studio”, dives in deep usually playing all instruments, and music comes out as a catharsis process.
He signs over 80 titles of Brazilian TV soundtracks. He worked with many Brazilian top artists as well as some American Icons such as late 5-Time Grammy Winner Phil Woods and multi-platinum producer Eumir Deodato.
Deodato says " With pristine musicianship and extraordinary creativity, Franco has gained a definite position in modern music of today. His work shows full understanding of Pop Rock, Brazilian and Contemporary idioms clearly demonstrated by his latest records”, while Phil Woods’ said “Franco is a first rate artist. I have had the pleasure of recording with this charming talented gentleman and his music rings the bells of my heart”.
Jody Duckett (Morning Call Editor) wrote "colorful and soul touching, first rate guitar … rich voice”.
He says: “It is time for people to get to know my best work, and for me to fully realize my greatest love and inspiration in music!”.
