Acoustic folkster Freddie Wilson has been on some sort of self-appointed coffee house renegade since the Summer of '06 when he first adopted the "Fountain Penn" moniker. Having spent his formative years as the rookie performer at local open mics, this young songwriter thrust himself eagerly into the Carolinian music scene. Consequently, he rarely spends a weekend off stage. Armed with a "Do It Yourself", "three chords and the truth" mentality, Fountain Penn regularly captivates his audiences with simplicity and sincerity.
