Douglas Haines has been entertaining audiences with original music for three decades. He is an award-winning Americana-Folk singer/songwriter, blending acoustic guitar melodies with a poet’s gift for capturing a story in lyric form.
Music has always been a way of expressing his deepest thoughts and feelings as he blends emotion-filled lyrics with intricate finger style picking. His captivating melodies and soft acoustic sound reflect the influence of legendary singer/songwriters such as James Taylor, John Mayer, Ed Sheeran, Dan Fogelberg, Jackson Browne, Graham Nash and David Gates.
Douglas is a founding member of the Haines Bros. Band. Throughout his professional career he has continued to write, perfecting his guitar mastery and singing the emotion-filled songs that have come out of the diary of his life. To date Douglas has written over 300 personal songs and over 3000 custom songs for people in 52 countries.
