Artist Bio
In 2000, Seattle-native singer, songwriter, and actress, Stacie Orrico, released her debut album, Genuine, after signing to For-Front Records, which went on the sell over 500,000 copies. She then signed to Virgin Records and released her self-titled sophomore album in 2003, which debuted at #67 on the Billboard 200 and received a Grammy Award Nomination. Stacie’s third full-length album, Beautiful Awakening, was released in 2006, featuring singles such as “I’m Not Missing You” and “So Simple”.
In between her music career, Stacie has also built a resume as a reputable actress. She has been featured on NBC’s American Dreams and hosted MTV’s TRL. Also spending time in theater, she has been involved in plays including Hot L Baltimore, The Music Man, and The Sound of Music.
After 7 years away from the spotlight, Stacie released a new single called “Catch Me If You Can” on April 2, 2012 and is about to embark on her 4th studio album. With the time taken off and the experiences from traveling the world, she will certainly have plenty to share on this upcoming release.
